Workers Compensation

In Tonga there is no Compensation Act or Stautory Liability for worker injuries. There is however, a Common Law Liability on the part of Employers for worker injuries where the Employer has been negligent or responsible.

Cover for worker injuries can be given through a Personal Accident Policy and cover for the Employers Common Law Liability can be given through Section 2 of our Standard Workers Compensation Policy.
